Public Meeting - 7th April 2023

SSEN has been asked by Highland and Community Councillors to extend their deadline for public comments to the Spittal to Beauly line (S2B) and associated infrastructure from 31st March 2023 by three months. They have offered an unacceptable two weeks.

SSEN has not been timely in answering questions put to them and a website map has been wholly inaccurate and the S2B has had to be removed. It has still not been replaced.

In addition we have asked SSEN to supply more of their glossy brochures that are needed to respond to them. We hope to have these available at our meeting on 7th April 2023 to enable communities to get them to people who were not aware of the consultations or unable to get to them.

SSEN cannot expect considered views when they don’t supply the information needed to make them.
